Why the law of attraction is not working for you?

Everybody in this industry has heard of Law of Attraction and everybody wants to attract more and more money in his life.

But despite their attempt to apply it , they don’t succeed to apply it completely.

Why is it so ?

Maybe you have seen the movie ” The Secret” but it just talks about “The law of attraction“. It doesn’t teach you exactly how to apply it in your life. There are some facts that you might be missing before you start seeing significant results.

What are these missing pieces of puzzle ?

The Preliminary steps to use law of attraction

  1. Decide what you want
  2. Have feeling of you already having whatever you wanted
  3. Don’t question authenticity of the law

Still the law of attraction is not working for you

Consider these things, it might help you a lot to actually apply it in practice.

Desperation

When people decide what they want and then they cling to that thing. In that attempt, they become so desperate in having that thing and when the feeling of desperation comes, it sends out desperation signals to the universe so universe catches these negative signals and then frustration builds up. This is one of the major reasons why the law of attraction doesn’t work.

Comparitis

When you use law of attraction, you will see a lot of signals outside of you succeeding.

Many people when they see other succeeding , they get so much jealous, they are so much resistant to the idea of accepting someone else being successful that they resist their own success also.

Don’t compare your success with other people. Compare it with yourself.

Vetal

This is inner voice inside your head which is keeping you in comfort zone and keeping you where you are. It’s hindrance to your growth. This voice is very good in rationalizing whatever you do. It justifies every wrong act of yours.

How to get rid of this inner voice ?

How to make your prospects make a decision ?

Most people find this step as most difficult because they are too much attached to the outcome and when you are too much attached to the outcome you will find this as the most difficult step to close people.

Closing means helping someone to make a decision , no matter whatever the decision is “YES” or “NO” .

So some tips which will help you to close more people efficiently,

Never be attached to the outcome. No matter what.

I know a few people who are so clinging to the outcome so much and when they are heavily rejected and beaten down by prospects, they quit Network Marketing.

There are people who get depressed after someone which they are very sure will sign up won’t show up or says “NO”.

There are no so called “ROCKSTARS” in network marketing, you can’t predict what other person will do after he/she signs up.

A leader is developed over the period of time. A leader is created. He/she is not born.

If you really want to help someone to make a decision , don’t be addicted to the outcome. Don’t expect that they will do something. Help them, coach them. Use consultative approach. You can learn more about it here.

We get so frustrated when somebody agrees to meet and doesn’t show up, when somebody agrees to sign up but refuses to pick up the call, when somebody is so fired up but his/her results are mediocre, when somebody quits.

Frustration means seeing the gap between what you think (or a version of reality you allow yourself to be addicted to) should happen versus what actually happens.

Why detached mentality can create wonders for you?

Detached mentality is the cornerstone of each and every successful venture.

When your mind is detached from the outcome, you will experience.

We talk about a lot about visualizing the goals and when we do that we become too attached to the outcome or results.

And then that becomes a major cause of failure. When you are too attached to the outcome, you send out desperation signals to the universe and when we do that the universe senses your desperation, so when desperation is visible then you know your results are subpar.

The best strategy is give your best shot and do everything you can do but be detached to the outcome.

It’s very easy to say but seems very difficult to implement.

When I say, detached mentality, believe in abundance mentality.

When people say, ” I don’t have many people to talk to. How can you tell me to be detached to the outcome.

This is the biggest trap.

People think they should be attached to the outcome just because they have too many things at stake. It is never true.

I can tell you from my experience that whenever I was detached from the outcome , rejection didn’t bother me at all. Failure didn’t bother me.

But when I was detached to the outcome, some people actually liked it and signed up by just observing my indifferent attitude.

So when you will start believing in abundance, you will start seeing difference in results.

Why New Year Resolutions almost never work and what to do instead ?

Have you ever gone through this phase?

Where you were so pumped up, geared up and you did a lot of new year resolutions….and after a couple of days or weeks , you see yourself deviating from your goals and then you start losing your focus, then reality sets in….and then we forget our goals and our routine life takes a toll over us….and everything starts to fizzle out…

There are millions of reasons why you fail but today we are going to address it from a Scientific Perspective

So here are my .02 cents

1. Don’t tell anyone about what you want to do, at least not directly.

The act of announcing what you want to do to your friends and family — and hearing their approval — provides similar satisfaction to achieving the goal, giving you a “premature sense of completeness”.

With your self-satisfaction meter already filled before you start, the motivation to work hard is reduced.

2.Instead telling people what to do , lay out a plan to execute your idea.

This can be very powerful. Break down what you want to do in simple and achievable steps. Write down plan of action. Execute the plan. Reward yourself for smaller achievements in order to get your motivation upto the higher level of success.

3. Don’t set too many goals or highly ambitious goals.

It’s not wrong to aim for high but when you are setting goals…this theory never works. You may be knowing about this concept called “Compound Effect” where it’s evident that if we try to change something drastically, it doesn’t work for long time because payoffs are not immediate so we need to create something where we can get small but consistent payoffs so our motivation doesn’t fizzle out.

You must be aware that it takes around 21 days to form a habit and we are going to learn how to use this curve to reach out your goals, change your habits.

1st week

When you start making resolutions, first 7 days are very hard to follow through, but push forward. In first 7 day period, you may feel a lot of resistance from your brain, your brain will start rationalizing on why things are not going to work out. It will try to put you in the comfort zone. You will feel a lot of resistance from your body.

2nd week

After first 7 days, the initial resistance becomes less, but still there is a way to go. You may feel that it’s not worth the try. Your body will start giving up on you. (Atleast it feels like) but don’t lose hope. It’s the process. Set smaller and achievable goals. Reward yourself constantly and keep your motivation going.

3rd week

Then the last 7 day period, your resistance will become very much less and some new things will fall in place but still there is a resistance. Now your old bad habits may start to take your control. They will try to throw you off the balance.

If you want to get rid off the old bad habits— there are two ways

  • Get rid of it step by step. Don’t give up fully as it can cause extreme deficiency of Dopamine and can actually backfire on you.
  • Create obstacle around the habit. If you are addicted to drinking, buy your drink from a place where it’s difficult to reach or will take too much time to reach there.It’ll automatically stop you/prevent you from indulging in that habit.

After 21 days, there is not any magic that you automatically continue but it becomes sort of habit but still push through it.
