This is a tough one.

How to decide someone is right prospect or not?

We are trained to prospect every single person we meet but this topic looks little bit weird.Isn’t it?

What you are told is not fully wrong but it’s not completely right. Not everyone you meet is right prospect.

Now how to decide that ?

It’s a tough question.

There are not any exact guidelines but you can always follow some rough guidelines which will help you to decide whether the person you are talking is right prospect or not?

  1. The person is overly skeptical and doubter. While talking to someone, if you realize someone is asking too many questions or poking holes in whatever you are saying.
  2. The person is totally negative. If you are talking to someone who is always complaining how bad his job is, how bad is the economy, how this world is going to end.
  3. The person is hypemaster. You can easily figure out from his body language and voice tone that whether the person is hyping or not.
  4. The person is gossipmonger. If the person is talking negative about his friends, his relatives, his parents, his colleagues most of the time.
  5. The person is unambitious. If someone talks to you and you realize that this person is merely interested in continuing his job and not open to any kind of business deal.

These are some kind of people who are not the right prospects , you should not approach for your business.

Should you prospect your warm market?

This is one of the major roadblocks many network marketers face. They don’t want to prospect their warm market. Why? They want to come to them as a pushy sales person.

Actually, you should prospect tour warm market because as many successful network marketers have build their business using this way only. This is one of the fastest ways of building a team.

Many people are reluctant to approach their warm market in order to look good but what they don’t understand is warm market has trust in you so there is a higher probability of them signing up with you rather than someone totally cold.

If you don’t do this with proper way, then you will come forward as a pushy salesperson.

The people who proclaim who build their business with totally cold market are forgetting one thing, they are actually teaching you the wrong thing i.e don’t prospect your warm market

 

Let’s say, if you go to some movie and you liked the movie, if you go to some restaurant and you liked the food. With whom you will share all these things first.

With people you know, like and trust

or

With strangers on the street

Think about it for a moment.

Most people come up with the excuse that they don’t want to prospect their warm market because it can lower down their self image.

When you are prospecting your warm market, don’t try to close everybody.

What mistakes people do with warm market is that they are emotionally attached to them and they try to push them hard.

Remember one thing,nobody is going to join your business if you excessively push, its opposite of “Attraction Marketing” i.e called “Repulsion Marketing

So next time, when you are afraid of talking to your warm market, don’t think and analyze too much but don’t be attached to the outcome. If you push too much, you will come of as a pushy salesy person. Avoid this at all costs and people will respect you for what you do.

How to start your conversation about your MLM ?

The most pressing problem people face is how to start conversation about your MLM with other people.

Although there are some good catchy lines you can use but not everybody is comfortable saying it. it all boils down to your beliefs.

First step, you have to do is to work on your inner game. Then lines are just a formality, but it’s also important to learn what language to use while you talk to someone.

While you practice some techniques, as you start making money, start working on your inner game, your lines will become fluent.

How to start conversation with a stranger?

This will not happen in one day. You can’t get past the fear unless you make it a regular habit to talking to strangers. It’s like a social muscle. You can’t develop it in a single day. You have to develop this over a period of time. When you have to exercise this muscle every single day.

Start talking with people first. Start talking with each and everybody, not only your friends, your watchman, your chemist, hotel waiter. While talking to them, give them a compliment. Sincere complement. Don’t give fake compliments. It’s not going to work out.

Always try to be interested rather than being interesting. Ask some questions related to their job, family, entertainment.After you know about the person, it’s a higher probability that the opposite person will ask you what do you do?

Always tell them benefit driven statement like I help overweight people to lose their weight. I help people to make money while they enjoy vacation. I am working on a project which deals into xxxx and we are currently developing markets in xxxx. Some may ask you out of curiosity. Don’t satisfy their curiosity. Instead, ask for their no and then follow up with them. Nobody will sign up with you, if you pitch your opportunity directly on them.

There are some people who will never ask you what you do. Try to raise their curiosity a little bit. Don’t try to direct your conversation to that. If that person feels like you dragged him/her to that topic forcefully, you can’t create a good rapport, so don’t force it.

Most of the people are quite busy in thinking what my friends will think about me rather than doing the activity required. When the question of “establishment and maintenance of reputation”  comes, it is utmost important to deal with it because if you fail to establish and maintain great reputation in Network Marketing, its’ waste of your time and your image in the public eye will go for a toss.

There are “bad players” in every industry, there will be such fraudulent companies, there will be dishonest distributors. These bad things can affect your business in some or the other way.
These “rotten apples” can create mistrust, skepticism in prospect’s mind.

Dishonesty leads to failed reputation.

Be a professional network marketer to avoid a bad reputation.

  1. Always tell the truth. Be honest in every interaction with your prospects and team.
  2. Be interested in helping others. The most powerful way to build credibility and trust in network marketing. If you are genuinely interested in well being of others, then you will go far in this business.
  3. Do what you say you’ll do – every single time. If you say you’ll call at a specific time, call. Unless there’s a true emergency, you should live by your word. That will position you as a person of trust and integrity.
  4. Increase your knowledge. The more knowledge you have about your product or service,company & industry, the more influence you will have.
  5. Talk with people. You have to talk to people to expand your credibility. There’s no way around it.
  6. Increase your results. You’ll gain credibility as you grow your business. The better your results in helping others.
