How to get more traffic to your blog ?

How to get more traffic to your blog ?

In this post I am going to share a few tactics which I used personally to build my traffic and increase my rankings on Google.

I have learned most of the things from Ray Higdon’s Pro Blog Academy , it helped to build my brand and also helped in getting 2 signups within first 4 months and thousands of dollars of affiliate commissions and it gave around 76 leads in first 4 months, that’s pretty nice. You can also check a free video where Ray Higdon Teaches all his techniques for free.

Now, I am going to share a few tactics directly from Ray Higdon’s  Pro Blog Academy to help you decide whether that investment is worth or not ?

Tactic No. 1 :  Define your target market. If you are in a company which sells health drinks, then your target audience is someone who might benefit from that drink. If you are a realtor, your target customer is someone who is going to buy real estate at an affordable rate. If you are a financial planner, then your customer is someone who is looking to invest his money in order to save his taxes and get greater returns.

Tactic No. 2 : How to persuade people to click on your link is done by writing simple message like this

Tactic No. 3 : If you are not a technical person, you can get your WordPress blog setup from elance or odesk to save your precious time, use it only when you don’t want to waste your time on learning something which might not be useful to you in the long term.

Tactic No. 4 : If you want to become content creation machine, then don’t just become a consumer, always think like a marketer. Pay attention to all those things happening in your life. If you are going to an event, take notes, if you read some good book in your niche, take notes, if you do a mistake and learn a lesson , take notes and then write it on your blog.

Tactic No. 5 : The most important thing in blogging is consistency and congruency. Even if you suck at writing right now, but if you improve yourself day by day and you are congruent in your message, then in the long term nobody can beat you.

Tactic No. 6 : For proper Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of your blog, use these plugins : SEO Pressor and Easy WP SEO

Tactic No. 7 : Become a member of Betternetworker.com and take paid membership and share your content there, it’s a platform where more than 1 lac network marketers are registered and it’s the best source of targeted traffic and leads.

This is it, if I share more tips, Ray Higdon will kill me, if you think these free tips are worth it, then consider seeing this free presentation on how Ray Higdon gets 20-30 leads a day.

10 Worst people in MLM

10 Worst people in MLM

So this post is inspired by our beloved industry leader Todd Falcone, a couple of months back , he wrote the article ” The 10 worst people in MLM” . This blog post was a major hit, it was shared, tweeted by tons of people.

10 worst people in MLM – Courtesy Todd Falcone

Today, I have decided to write a similar post like this after looking at different kinds of downlines I have or had. If you think it resonates with you, feel free to comment and share.

The names are just fictional, so don’t take it personally if it applies to you.

#10.Rude Ruby :  This is the person in your downline act like she in controlling everything. If you tell her to bring prospects for the plan, come for the event/training , she will answer you are going to benefit from her, she may act arrogant. She is one of those who thinks because of her, everybody up in the network is getting paid and if she stops working, everybody will stop earning money.

#9.Hypey Howard : Howard is a nice guy but when it comes to prospecting and showing the plan, he always leads with hype. He will make tall claims of his income, he will go to such an extent to bash other Network Marketing company to promote his, but he gets frustrated when nobody responds to his calls or nobody takes him seriously.

#8.Pitchy Paula : Paula is the person who likes to pitch opportunity to everybody within her 3 feet, whenever she meets someone she can’t resist but do pitching and gets ridiculed. Paula needs more training on how to pitch properly but nobody is interested in training her.

#7.Sleazy Sally : Sally is good at talking, communicating and connecting but when it comes to closing , she acts like a sleazy salesperson and she is desperate to get that signup. Ohh poor Sally

#6.Johny the jumper : Johny was super excited when he joined your company but after getting a few rejections he got disappointed, he always praises other network marketing companies and their products , he is too keen to join the next lucrative deal but then that company goes out of business.Ohhh poor Johny boy…..

#5.Marie the Manager : Marie has around 50-100 downlines, so she acts as if she is their boss and tries to control them, she motivates them to do activities but she doesn’t prospect and shows only 2 plans in the month but she expects her downlines to show 15 presentations a month. For a long time, she is struggling to get them to work, a few of them have quit the business because of her attitude but she doesn’t seem to care.

#4.Blaming bobby : Bobby thinks he is very smart, master at prospecting and closing but when it comes to actually doing it, he doesn’t have any luck with it. He always wishes his upline was different, he was in another deal or another fast growing team. He always justifies his failures and blames it on his uplines and a handful of downlines.

#3.Innovator Ira : Ira is largely influenced by Peter Drucker, so when it comes to network marketing , she uses her innovative approaches to do business, despite following standard procedure, she thinks she is very smart and does exactly opposite. No doubt is she is very innovative in her approach but it is not working anymore…..

#2.Carrie the Crossliner : Carrie is a good girl but she is always worried about others, she is not worried about her and her downlines but she is so much worried about why other people struggling and why someone is not getting signups or why somebody is getting more signups. Sometimes she is so engrossed in others life that she doesn’t get time to show her own plans.

#1.Poor Pamela : Pamela is really poor not because she is not earning money from her MLM but she always asks/borrows money from her crosslines/uplines for any training, event or company convention but never returns back.

Obviously there are more people than this but I stopped myself from going any further.

Can you relate to some of these people ? Do you have pleasure working with them ?

Anyways feel free to share…..

How to overcome procrastination ?

How to overcome procrastination ?

We all procrastinate at some time or other—it’s part of being human. We frequently put off doing things that we know we should do for a multitude of reasons. In today’s lesson you will learn why most people procrastinate and how to overcome procrastination and become a Do-It-Now person.

Why Become a Do-It-Now Person?

The most valuable benefits of being a person who performs responsibilities in a timely manner include an improved self-image and stronger self-confidence.

On the other end of the spectrum, when you consistently put things off and fail to follow through with your responsibilities and commitments, the results can be devastating. Common effects include depression, guilt, poor productivity, social disapproval, unemployment, reduced wages, and low self-worth.

Procrastination is the deferment of tasks to a later time. Because of the simplicity of the definition, one might think the solution is also simple—to do what you know you should do even though you don’t feel like doing it. But, it’s not that easy for many people.

Common Causes of Procrastination

The first step in overcoming procrastination is to understand why you procrastinate. If you don’t understand something, you can’t control it. If you
can’t control it, you can’t change it.Let’s take a look at some of the main causes of procrastination. Make a note of the one’s you feel are at the root of your problem.
•  Feeling another time would be better. You believe that tomorrow you will be fresher and better prepared to do it.
•  Poor planning. You underestimate how long something will take. This is a common problem when taking on unfamiliar projects and responsibilities.
•  Fearful of the outcome. Your fear of rejection or disapproval, of failure or even success keep you from tackling the job.
•  Feeling overburdened. Discouragement, anxiety and stress are results from feeling overwhelmed and out of control and can cause you to procrastinate.
•  Lack of confidence. You have a low evaluation of yourself and your abilities; you avoid accepting/doing an assignment.
•  Poor concentration. You find it difficult to stay focused on the job until it is complete.
•  Feeling uncomfortable. You tend to put off activities that make you feel stretched beyond what you have done before. You prefer to stay in your comfort zone.
•  Inadequate motivation. The outcome is not truly important to you so you’re not motivated to start the task.
•  Fulfilling your beliefs. You believe you are a procrastinator, so you live up to your expectations of yourself.

Methods for Overcoming Procrastination

Once you identify the cause of your procrastination, you then need to identify one or more solutions that will allow you to take control
of your responsibilities and commitments and do them in a timely manner. Here are some solutions that will help all of us be more disciplined in doing what we should do.
•  Get clear on what’s important to you. Make sure the things you are pursuing are things that are deeply important to you. Then spend your time pursuing them and saying no to the things that aren’t important.
•  Believe you can.Refuse to believe anything negative about yourself or your abilities. You are an amazing creation. Adopt the attitude that you can do anything you put your mind to, because you can.
•  Work from a prioritized Daily To-Do List. One of the best ways to overcome procrastination is to get organized and start keeping a prioritized To-Do List. After you complete your list, make a commitment to yourself that you will work the list in priority sequence and not skip over any tasks.
•  Break big projects down into small manageable pieces. If you have a project to complete, start by breaking it down into bite-sized pieces. When all the individual components have been identified, put them into a logical priority sequence and get started.
•  Learn how to plan and organize projects. When you have a project that will require one or more hours of your time, block out time in your schedule to work on the project. This allows you to focus on your work without distractions.
•  Do the easy things.Start doing the easy things that will build your confidence such as answering your email, taking out the over-flowing garbage, and making the bed. As you build your confidence in doing the little things, you will feel more confident and motivated to do the bigger things.
•  Push yourself outside your comfort zone.As Dale Carnegie said, “Do the thing you fear to do and keep on doing it… that is the quick-est and surest way ever yet discovered to conquer fear.”
•  Encourage yourself. When you push yourself to do something you know you should do but don’t feel like doing, congratulate yourself. Become your biggest fan.
•  Make a commitment to overcome procrastination. If you really want to win the procrastination battle to advance your life personally and professionally and improve how you view and feel about yourself, make the commitment that you will become a Do-It-NOW person.

Challenge for you

Spend some quiet time thinking about why you procrastinate and what led to the problem. When you feel you are clear on your reasons, put into writing the steps you are committed to take to overcome procrastination. Then push yourself harder than you have ever pushed yourself to do the things you know you should do when you should do them. It won’t be easy but, with focus and determination, you can do it.

Because procrastination can have devastating consequences, it’s to your advantage to take action today. Don’t procrastinate conquering your procrastination.

How to overcome you greatest obstacle ?

How to overcome you greatest obstacle ?

While there are many elements that will play a role in your ultimate success and happiness, if you have to identify the single most important of them—the one you could not be successful without—it would be discipline.

You will see people succeed with all kinds of weaknesses, but you will never see anyone achieve any great accomplishment without discipline.
Brian Tracy said, “If I had to pick the no.1 key to success, it would be…self-discipline. It is the difference in winning or losing; between greatness and mediocrity.”

Discipline Speeds Up Results.

Not only is discipline critical to your success, but it is also the ultimate accelerator to any great accomplishment.

I will share a story with you. It’s a story which was shared with me by one of our mentors.

“When he was in the school, he was a very good badminton player but there was a player in the same batch who was a state level champion and he used to beat him every single time with huge difference. No matter what he did, he never won against him.He used to blow him out of the water in every single match, so he knew he(my mentor) can’t beat him with skill but surely he can beat him if he found out his weakness and exploit it. He came to know that champion was not used to run much, because of his superior skills. My mentor decided to beat him in the speed.

There was a state level competition which was going to be held after 3months time, so their sports teacher told them that only one of them can go, whoever wins the most practice matches will go to play for competition.

My mentor, from the next day onwards, started to run every single morning, in the sports complex. No matter how bad he was feeling, he did it relentlessly, without skipping s single day, then he used to tie sandbags to his legs and run, in that way he increased his overall fitness, energy and stamina, then he asked some of his friends that while practicing badminton , they should help him, they agreed to do so, he practiced in the court, singlehandedly against two players, till he mastered the quickness.

You may have heard this from Muhammed Ali ” Move like a Butterfly and sting like a Bee. ”

After 3 months, during practice matches, he was so swift and fast that he literally made his opponent(state level champion) exhausted and he won every single match and went to play state level competition and that champion,in embarrassment, actually gave up Badminton permanently. “

Overcoming the Obstacle

If you want to become more disciplined, here’s what you must do. The process of becoming disciplined starts by doing the small things. Things like picking up your coffee mug and putting it in the dishwasher, making your bed, returning your calls and emails in a timely manner, being on time for your appointments, getting your project done on time and so on.
As you practice being disciplined by doing small things, you will then have the discipline to do the big things. This is why the process of becoming disciplined begins by doing the little things—simple things you can do.
From this point forward, when you need to do something you don’t feel like doing, then say to yourself, “If I don’t feel like doing it, then I MUST DO IT NOW!” Then immediately, without further delay, do it.

As you implement self-discipline into your daily life you will begin to feel like you are in control of your life. You will feel confident and motivated because you’re moving toward your goals and you will feel proud of the person you are becoming in the process.
The single most important key to success is having the discipline to do what you know you should do, even when you don’t feel like doing it.

Never give. Always trade.

If you are in Network Marketing for more than a year, I want to share this thing with you. If you are doing some of following things

  1. If your downlines didn’t have any money for the product, you’re giving them some.
  2. If they are afraid of call the people on their list, you are making the calls for them.
  3. If they couldn’t recruit anyone, you would recruit someone and sign that recruit up under them.
  4. If they couldn’t sell, you would give them one of your sales.

Guess how far that will lead you to ? You got it. Nowhere. All it will do is to make your group sit back and wait for your next gift.

There’s by Ayn Rand “The unearned cannot be had and the undeserved cannot be given”.

“ Never give. Always trade. ”

Now before you think this is a heartless concept, let me explain a bit further.

In Network Marketing if you give without trading, you don’t help… you hurt.

If you took a look at a caterpillar in it’s cocoon and saw it struggling to get out, you might have compassion on its struggle and give it some help. Did you know if you made a tiny little cut along the edge of the cocoon to make its escape just a little easier, the
caterpillar would die? It’s the struggle against the cocoon that gives it the strength to live in the outside world. And, because you wanted to help, you killed it.

The same thing is true for your business.

“If it is to be it is up to me”.

That’s partly true. But when it comes to helping people grow, it’s not “up to you” to do everything for them.

  1. Recruiting family members or close friends and then building for them.
  2. Give me your list and I’ll do all the work.
  3. I can’t afford it, can you help me get started.
  4. Can you pay for my training?
  5. I just can’t recruit anyone and it’s so easy for you. Can you help me out ?
  6. I’ve got this great prospect. Will you call them for me?
  7. Will you meet my prospect for coffee ? I can’t make it.

You will fall into those traps.

So here is the solution.

Never give. Always trade.

Let me give you a few examples:

  1. If someone asks you to help them recruit someone, instead of saying yes, try this… “Arrange minimum 15 personal plans in the next month.”
  2. If someone asks you to call for them, tell them you will if they will agree to bring minimum 2-3 guests to next meeting.
  3. Instead of just giving someone your recruits, tell them you’ll give it to them if they will commit to sitting down face to face with at least one prospect per day for the next 7 days.
  4. If they ask you to help get their new person started, instead of just doing it, tell them you’ll do it if they will agree to learn how to do one on one presentation.

 Make them do something.

Make the trade something they need to work on.

Make it some-thing that will make them stronger.

Make it something that will make them stretch and grow.

They won’t always do it, but if they don’t then the next time they ask for something, make them perform first before you help.

It helps them to become independent much faster.
And it helps you to manage your time much more effectively.Never give. Always trade.
